Name a song that gives you the chills, something that disturbs you.
This is the one for me.
34 pages of nightmares
What is the scariest/creepiest music you've heard?
Ringo singing You’re Sixteen. How old was he when he sang that?
Jambalaya - The Carpenters
I think I posted this one on the other thread...
Not so much a song as spoken word... but Tori Amos’ cover of Eminem’s ‘‘97 Bonnie & Clyde’... creepy as feck.
Anything by Gary Glitter is disturbing. Especially "Do you wanna touch me"
Every Breath You Take
Randy Newman "Suzanne"
'In Every Dream Home A Heartache ' ---Roxy Music , a song so creepy it was used in the background of a bizarre scene involving the BTK Killer in the show ' Mind Hunters '
But the last line is hysterical :
" I blew up your body but you blew my mind !"
Clearly this song wins and closes the thread:
Randy Newman "Davy The Fat Boy"
With honorable mention:
Randy Newman “In Germany Before the War”
Van Morrison-"T.B. Sheets"....also "He Ain't Give You None" by Van.
Yeah but it's so beautiful to hear at weddings...
It's supposed to make you feel uneasy and succeeds on every level. Powerful song.
People are stupid.
I told my wife she could either marry me or have a stalker for life.
She didn't want to deal with the headache so she married me.
So it fits in some cases.
Index from Steven Wilson’s “Grace for Drowning”
I went to a wedding back when this song was big. It was the bride and groom's first dance as a married couple.
Wonder if they're still together.
That whole album is a little creepy. I think that was the point.
Separate names with a comma.
