EDIT: The French price works out at around £30 cheaper.

Just pre-ordered from Amazon US, after $25.00 gift card came to only $111.00, not too bad. Also ordered the 3 disc set, $23.00 after tax.

 

Rather strange that the product description for these sets on Amazon UK is currently written in German

 

Anyone know what the RRP in the UK is? What is the matter with Amazon? They did this with the Dylan set and must have lost a huge amount of orders and then reduced the price again after everyone cancelled. I should have ordered last night I suppose, but frankly I think I'll go elsewhere this time. Anyone know if HMV have a price up for the box set yet?

Nothing from HMV as yet

 

Seems like a but of fudge with the announcement. First things drift out in a really offhand way, then we get a radio exclusive and then the promo video (which admittedly looks very nice) but no really cohesive launch. Shame really. Anyone in the know when it is actually going to get an official launch. Boat missed now of course as everyone is going to beat Apple to it.

The price of the deluxe set is $195 in the US Beatles store. I hope Amazon's $128 holds up.
