Due to money and location, I usually make it to ONE "big" (theater or larger) show a year.

This year I've struck gold :)

    Dream Theater in April
    Paul McCartney in May
    KISS in October

My dad paid for Macca and my mom's boyfriend paid for her and I to see KISS since he know's we love them. Great guy. Unexpected!

Please enjoy Iron Maiden for me

They are my favorite band (well, top 5, for sure). I've had several chances to see them and haven't been able to. I've been trying since 2006 and date/location never, ever lines up for me. I give up....

Hope you have a blast though! Up the Irons!

I wasn't expecting to see anyone, but these things happen ... and the price of tickets, that will probably be all lol

Only confirmed is seeing Kiss at the Tacoma Dome on Saturday with my dad. Should be fun but I've never been a huge Kiss fan besides the first few albums and the Detroit Rock City movie.

Moving to New Orleans on Sunday and hoping to catch Peter Murphy do his Bauhaus set on Monday night!

Then hoping to go to BUKU festival (mostly modern rap), as well as the Jazz Festival (Rolling Stones, Van Morrison, Al Green)

My one yearly festival with my youngest (eldest has decided to not go this year which is a bit sad but I guess he’s just growing up). First wave of acts announced today so the artists on our list to definitely catch are:

    Nile Rodgers and chic
    Rag n bone man
    Idles
    Elvana

Plus whoever we happen to catch. Hopefully there will be a bit more good stuff in the next wave announcement

Can't afford it right now. Barely have $120 in the bank. In between jobs barely getting bills paid.

    Such is life! :/

Saw GBV open for Pearl Jam in 2012. They were incredible. It was like watching a group of middle aged dads genuinely trying to be The Who or something. The singer was waving his microphone around, the guitarist was doing splits and "power stance" moves, they had a cooler on stage that they would crack open and pull a beer out of....

The women standing in front of me were laughing and said "These guys suck!"

I was like "no - you suck!" and I went back to headbanging.

    They were sick :)

Well you still have a few months and I imagine the grassed area will be easy to get tickets for.... I have rolled up on the concert day before and got tickets. Hope it works out.

I’m biased as the Mekons are my all-time favorite band, but I’m particularly excited that there’s a full on tour this year behind a brand new album out in March, Deserted. Recorded in Joshua Tree, the first track out sounds fantastic. They’re in America in July and I plan on taking in the Chicago, Madison and the New York area shows.

I also plan on catching at least one of these Supersuckers 30th Anniversary shows—they sound just epic.
