wow! I went to see a lovely show by Diana Krall and Joe Lovano came out on sax-very cool, she explained how he was an idol of hers and they finally managed to play together. I've never seen Jack DeJohnette, THAT is also very cool.

Despite my best efforts to cut back on shows for financial reasons, shows I couldn't resist and have purchased for 2019:
    • Joe Jackson
    • Monkees
    • Nils Frahm
    • Wilco's Solid Sound Festival (line-up yet to be announced)
    • Phish at Fenway (both nights)
    • King Crimson
    • Elton John

Cher was here last night. I made fun of people the last few weeks for going to see her. Then I looked at the set list and said, “I might have actually enjoyed most of that show”.... too funny

:::..secured MUSE tickets in Mexico City, next October 2nd, last friday...first show sold out the venue (45,000 seated and close to 60,000 GA standing ) in 4 days, as second date was added expectations are high because few bands/artist have filled up that place (Autodromo Rodriguez- F1 Race Track) and a few more 2 dates back to back; among them
Metallica (2 times 3 shows),Rolling Stones (4 times 2 shows), Backstreet Boys (yes 3 shows in a row), And 2 shows-2 times: U2, Radiohead, Roger Waters... 2 shows once: Shakira, Depeche Mode, Iron Maiden...

Next weekend in my city, there's a Festival with +Live+, Bush, Soul Asylum,Stone Temple Pilots among other 90s act...already bought 2 tickets for this one, but I give my ticket to my sister-in-law as companion for my brother instead, as a b-day gift...besides this, I'm afraid my knees won't be able to carry on two shows GA in a single year :sigh:

I'm happy I got to add Garbage to my 2019 list.

They did a "Version 2.0" tour in the fall and said they'd not be back until 2020.

Not sure what changed their mind, but I'm happy they did!

Standon calling which is only near bunting ford so nice and local. It’s a lovely little festival, superb food and drink, always a good and varied line up and last year they even had a record dealer (I managed to pick up the tmr trout mask package for a very reasonable price). My days of surviving the masses at Glastonbury are long gone but standon is just perfect

Nice looking festival, another one not far from you is the red rooster festival, smaller line up but really chilled and friendly, my festival budget has been taken up by our trip to the US so don't think we will be going this year
