Not filed alphabetically. On the CD shelf: Jeff Beck // Deep Purple On the vinyl shelf: Prince // Bowie
I used to have Led Zeppelin filed right after the Yardbirds since Jimmy Page was in both, but the Yardbirds were also a spawning ground for Eric Clapton and the various bands he was in including Blind Faith which included Steve Winwood who had been in Traffic which also had included Dave Mason who, like Winwood, made solo albums as well as Jeff Beck which led to the Jeff Beck Group which included Rod Stewart who also made solo albums and was a member of Faces which evolved out of the Small Faces which included Steve Marriott who split to form Humble Pie which included Peter Frampton who then went solo. but having all of those albums grouped together soon made them very hard to locate, so it was time to go in a more alphabetical direction. Live and learn.
Pretty sure a computer would arrange them Led Zeppelin, Leonard Nimoy, Liberace, in that order. So, no. Ray LaMontagne and Left Lane Cruiser for me.
L'Arpeggiata All'Improvviso is one of the best albums of all time Leftfield and L' may well mean "The" in French but I'm a Brit
Lard Free/Loop Orchestra As each one of my CD shelves is filed from A to Z (this makes for easier adjustments when something is added), the artists I listed indicate only the shelf where my Zep CDs are. As an example, there's another shelf where the bookended artists would have been Cyndi Lauper/Lene Lovich. Or Kraan/Dave Liebman. And so on.
