Pretty sure Sam Andrews wasn't in the Janis incarnation at Woodstock. Wikipedia lists the following band members for Janis at Woodstock.

    • Janis Joplin – vocals
    • Terry Clements – tenor saxophone
    • Cornelius "Snooky" Flowers – baritone saxophone, vocals
    • Luis Gasca – trumpet
    • John Till – guitar
    • Richard Kermode – keyboards
    • Brad Campbell – bass
    • Maury Baker – drums

I listened to CCRs set too recently. If Woodstock was a bad night for them then what was a good or great night like?! I thought the Woodstock set by CCR was really good.

The Who - although by the time I got around to seeing them [in the early 2000's], half the originals were gone. Nearly got to see them in 1981 or 82 but that's another story..
Grateful Dead - I think I saw them twice, once with Bob Dylan/Tom Petty on July 4, 1986, and I don't remember when the other would have been.
Santana - sometime in the early 2000's as I recall... [not sure who was or wasn't in the group at that time who would have been at Woodstock]

Unless you saw the relatively recent Santana reunion (2014-2016) and not all the shows from those years either only some of them)) no members of the Woodstock Santana band have played with Santana since 1976 except José "Chepito" Areas who played with him a bit in the 80s. I think Michael Shrieve may also have played with Santana at some point outside of the 2014-2016 reunion.

Well.. presumably at least Carlos... :agree:

[It would have been somewhere in the 2002 to 2007 range, I think.. man, I guess I have seen too many concerts to remember all of these details]

There was a brief set of "reunion" shows in 1988 when Rolie and Shrieve came back as well as Chepito. Band photo (Chester Thompson and Armando Peraza at the left and Alphonso Johnson second from right along with the Woodstock vets):

Both Rolie and Shrieve played on studio tracks during the interim (respectively on the "Shango" and "Shaman" albums). No idea if they turned up at any live shows.

I also saw Iron Butterfly a couple of times in the 90s. Ron Bushy and Doug Ingle and Lee Dorman were in the group at the time.
