Who did you see perform live at your college/university?

Pretty open to discussion here. So, going to offer before, during and after.

My alma mater is Buffalo State College.

During my senior year of high school, Adrian Belew appeared there for an outdoor show in the quad. Also saw Echo and the Bunnymen with Let's Active opening at union social hall.

Did attend community college, which had some concerts, but nothing that persuaded me. (Did see Famous Amos speak once though.) Simple Minds appeared at Buff St., 2 years prior to my transfer, and have regretted ever since not going. (This has been mentioned in "Concerts That You Missed" threads.)

While attending Buff St., during junior year, saw Sinead O'Connor on first tour at the union social hall. Also saw David Sylvian that year at Rockwell Hall. Can't remember exact year, but it may have been senior year that Rick Danko performed in the quad, totally relaxed atmosphere.

During grad school, Dylan was at the arena. Also had opportunity to get tickets for Smashing Pumpkins, but opted out for foolish reason. Student discounts were only offered to those paying annual fees (undergrads). Reviews were good, and pretty sure that Smashing Pumpkins were about the hottest act of the time. For comedy, did get to see Chris Rock at the arena.

Last year, for first time since, there was a chance to see Brubeck Brothers at Rockwell Hall. Kind of ashamed to admit to have made no other effort after leaving. They actually do book some interesting (not to mention reasonably-priced) acts.

I saw the Pixies at USF in '92 on their final tour before the initial breakup.

I also saw a bunch of local indie/punk bands around that time as well.

The Hooters played at my Community College fall of 1980 or 81...

Donovan and Paul Horn played together.

Buffalo Bob Smith did his nostalgia Howdy Doody show, which was right in the zone for us because this was 1969 or 1970. :D

I also saw Head East there (SIU) but they weren’t my thing and I have no memory of them other than I know I saw them .

I came back to Chicago to see the Stones but even though I was in college, they and other concerts I saw don’t qualify because I didn’t see them at my university.

Abbie Hoffman talked for like 45 minutes and he was hilarious . ( Our university had a thing called convocation or similar where we were required to pick four events out of the possibles to expand our “ culture” or some such ) :D

Besides Abbie, I saw Lillian Gish talk and showed clips from D.W. Griffith movies etc, as another of my culture expanding picks .:D

The Stone Roses, just before or around the release of their S/T debut. They weren't very good live at that point, if memory serves.
