Why did Allan Clarke insist on frequently performing bare chested throughout the 70s?

Not only a 70s thing. Joe Daniels of Local H would always play two songs with a shirt and then the rest of the show shirtless.

When did 'released' get replaced with 'drop'? I really don't get how it improves our communcation. TV shows no longer make their debut, or get broadcast, they 'drop'. Movies the same - they drop. Whoever thought that was an improvement? Personally I really, really can't stand it. 'His album drops next week'. Beg pardon?

.I agree. “Drop” has too many different meanings— even within the music industry. Did an album “ drop” down or off the charts? Was an artist “dropped?” By a record label?
Also “drop “ signifies a mistake as in something landed with a thud or a crash. Or a “plop.”
    Like a real stinker.

I guess it’s not that important in the scheme of things, it’s just an annoying word in that context. It’s as if the one using it just heard or read it and had to use it themselves...

Lots of threads seem to end with this being posted. Anyone posted that Orleans album cover yet?

Carl Palmer often drummed without a shirt.
