Will a small subwoofer help my stereo?

Energy rc-70’s , they have a rolled off tweeter, so they are a warm speaker already.
Will even a small 10” help take some of the low freq from my speakers, and sound better, my main room is large, with 18-19” vaulted ceilings.

Would a small sub even do anything, as the speakers sound good as it is, but may be too small for the room.
The room fills with sound no prob, just curious if a small sub would help boost the vol, and take some of the work load off of the small bass bribers.i think their 5.5” drivers, or 6”
    Energy rc-70’s

    Thanks

They go fairly low to begin with, 31hz +/- 3db. You could always get a SVS SB 2000 which goes down to 19 hz. It would add a little bit of more "presence" to the music.
