While the names escapes me at the moment, my wife and I ate at an Italian restaurant on Hanover last year that's almost directly across the street from Mike's Pastry. They, too, served wine in those tiny little glasses.

I hate how we’ve gotten to a point as a culture where we can’t just tell a story and then just leave it be. What’s so bad about a story having an end?

Sadly, I think the 'continuation' of the story isn't the primary reason sequels are made. It's not personal, it's just business!;)

It's not just movies either. Richard Patterson's made a nice living cranking out the same story year after year. Gotta keep feeding the beast, even if the food is overprocessed crap.

Another vote for HBO, Netflix getting serious and doing a 10 episode show of early Don Corleone.

I like that idea, especially as a series.

Sollozzo's grandson, aka 'The Young Turk', plots his revenge against Michael Corleone's grandson who now runs the legitimate family business.

Daniel Radcliffe as Michael Corleone II, Michael's grandson; runs the family bitcoin business
Peter Dinklage as Henry "Shorty" Phillips; Michael II's personal assistant and advisor.
Christian Slater as Bravio "Turkish Delight" Solozzo; Solozzo's grandson and president of a small internet service company.

From the side of the studios, yes, it is business. But they do it because people want more, more, more. Instead of just being satisfied with it as is, they want more. So the studios give it to them.
