I noticed that too and also similar in another episode. I think it's purposeful to show this series solve crimes a different way.
I'm well aware it's a TV show. Just about every cop show that's on TV is fiction. Whether it's fiction or based on fact I prefer the shows to be believable to a certain extent. Cops working a crime scene without gloves is one of those. Unless the show is going for satire then that's different.
Like this show a lot. Gets better each week. Episode 8 particularly good. (I watch Tuesday mornings on Hulu).
It’s getting better. I think I’ve figured out that the first Will Trent book wasn’t originally intended to be a “Will Trent” book. I’m about half way through it and Will hasn’t been mentioned at all in several chapters. Neither have the cops. It’s also very dark. Kinda hard to get through.
Just watched episode 9. Very engaging. Lots of drama, unexpected plot twists, and a bit of Betty. This is more like what I expected.
i hope will trent gets renewed, it really is a very good show. and for those of yo who haven't tried it yet, 'the company you keep' is also quite good. and conversely, 'true lies' is very bad.
Funny, I think the opposite: “Company…” is horrible and “True Lies” is a delight! And I do love “Will Trent”!
Liked (though didn't love) the first two episodes. Didn't like episode three, which was predictable and not very compelling and seemed to be retreating into standard middlebrow network detective show territory. Episode 4 was somewhat better, but I find that I'm already at a place where I'm tuning in mostly for learning about the main characters, and the crime they're supposed to be resolving is not very interesting.
We have watched the first 3 episodes so far. I like it. The cast is appealing and the dialogue intelligent and real enough to keep me interested. For me it is entertaining and not a bore, so I enjoy it for what it is.
I like both shows enough to waste my time watching them. "True Lies" is occasionally funny and. . . Ginger Gonzaga.
This three week wait for the next episode is so aggravating. It's no wonder so many people have given up on network TV! This was off the air for about 3 weeks, I think, then aired the latest 2 episodes, and will now be off for another 3 weeks...
I just finished the first Will Trent book, Tryptic. Funny that a recurring character on the show doesn’t make it to the end of the book.
