No, it’s not from the JPM show. It’s the clip from The Paul McCartney Special. It’s been at least 25 years since I last saw it. I assumed Henry did that on every LTS.
Dog. Yeah, my big takeaway: the info sheets aren't glued to the box! Also: printing production values are very high! The sets certainly look nice...
What annoys me most about the video is that he dropped the supposed "coming soon" card when opening the Wild Life box. I just want confirmation that LT and BTTE are in fact next in line.
I watched the unboxing only to see the "coming soon" cards (but we see slipping out when he open the Cd book and he doesn't mention them )
I was hoping we might have 1 big surprise this week - an appearance on the road for promotional purposes by the Wings Over Europe bus which we know is back in the UK (Although not owned by Paul the last we heard). However, after doing a little snooping I can see it has no tax or MOT so unless Paul wants to add a non-drugs related court appearance to his CV then I guess we won't be seeing it any time soon :-(
I liked when his daughter started drawing over one of the books and ripping the binding as he was looking at something else.
The only clip they show of "Long Tall Sally" in The Paul McCartney Special is from the 1986 Prince's Trust concert. Could you be thinking of the Wingspan documentary?
It's interesting to see how most of the videos on this guy's channel relate to breast pumps, and in comes a surprise unboxing of the new archive boxes.
First time I've seen the slipcase material described: Wild Life is "Numbered heavy weight kraft board slipcase. Cover silkscreen printed." Red Rose Speedway is "Numbered edition, colour printed silver metalized board slipcase". Does anyone understand this terminology? Look like the RRS slipcase is a higher quality?
Is everyones Amazon pre-order for the Wings Live 71-73 still active? I forgot about mine and I am shocked to see it not cancelled by them yet.
So much wrong with this video. The best thing is at the end when he says "I maybe the biggest McCartney fan on the planet" and earlier when he looks at the "Bruce McMouse" folio he says "I have no idea what this is"!!! That says it all. Hope he likes his box sets now that his kid has put her sticky fingers all over it and the dog has even walked all over it too... wow!
He doesn't even deserve the set! Only us true macca-fans who know about Scouse The Mouse should be able to get our hands on the archive editions. The rest of the unwashed masses can go listen to heavy metal (which Paul invented, btw).
I think the purchaser should be required to accurately sing “Best Friend” to the delivery person, or be denied receipt. A mouse like me belongs to the world.
Scouse The Mouse was a Ringo album from 1977! The Bruce McMouse Show is a totally different thing! Maybe you don't deserve the set either!
Some Amazon customers have already received ship dates so yes will be interesting to see what transpires with this.
