It's OK, but also where I began to lose a bit of interest in them. I like it but it's also my least favourite if theirs with Graham Coxon on. I even prefer Leisure!

It'll be in the US as well on RSD.

This is just stupid. What have digital & Spotify got to do with buying an expensive vinyl box set on RSD?

  7. You sure you have the right band? Stereolab maybe, but the only Krautrock band the Stone Roses bite from is Can, and only on a few tracks like "Fool's Gold".

    Anyway, back to Wire...

    I think he's thinking of Kasabian's debut.

Err no. What a weird reply.

Listen to I want to be adored, waterfall, I am the resurrection- they have a very Neu groove.

Why is that your favourite? I haven’t heard it.

"Reason is Treason" is very Neu.

    Neu doesn't groove though.

  14. My reply was weird? So you actually think the Stone Roses sound like Neu!? Better check your equipment, 'cause you are not getting accurate sound reproduction.

They do in their own kind of German high-performance way.

I rather thought of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club?!

Obviously we all have different ears but I honestly never thought about Neu! while listening to The Stone Roses. Which essentially are a very traditional band. While Neu! are.... well... New!

Any. Way. This is (or rather was) a thread about Wire, wasn't it????

Internet trolls. Ranting into space. If Hallogallo doesn’t have a groove then I must be playing it backwards. Move along please.

There are distributors in the US that are parcelling these out to stores but availability seems to be very limited; some stores will only be able to get one (1) copy, others will get none (0).

Have to say that I am pretty disappointed that the bonus tracks are going to be CD-only. They did the same thing with Colin's solo album reissues last year. The given reason was that it was cost-prohibitive to do on vinyl but surely Wire would be able to move 2xLP or 3xLP versions of their classic trilogy.

Not sure if Pink Flag has a working relationship with Mute but I'd be more in the market for reissues of their 80's catalog. I simply cannot justify purchasing Pink Flag, Chairs Missing and 154 for the fourth or fifth time.

That's what message boards are for right... commenting on other posters observations? I'm new here so I guess I didn't realize you had to be asked by the originating poster to comment. That has certainly never been a feature of any discussion board that I have posted on.
