    Wow, just did youtube to hear this record. I can't believe anybody would even blow $5 on this thing. Painful...

    The Shaggs was worse. I can only imagine the recording engineer sticking pencils in his ears to ease the pain...

    I can totally appreciate The Shaggs but spending that kind of money is beyond obsessive.

    In 1983, at a used record store in LA, I saw a sealed copy of this. It was $20. At the time, I'd never heard it, but knew of the awesome reputation it had for awfulness. And I thought for the entirety of my time in the store whether I should buy it just for laughs. But I didn't.

    Not my best collecting moment.

    I used to work at a music store and some of my co-workers would really play some weird obscure stuff. I really blew them away when I brought this one in, though. They were absolutely gobsmacked. We also discovered it was a great one to play at the end of the day when you wanted to get the customers to leave and close up the store. :laugh:
