Now that discogs is about to implode, what is the take on this place?

Just signed up and first impression is it is incredibly fiddly just finding something that is actually for sale. Run an artist search and get lead to lots of nice big album cover pics which you click on and get lead to nowhere.

What is so hard about just having a plain list of stuff with "FOR SALE" next to it?

There are Classifieds Forums with stuff for sale here you might want to check out. If you're unable to see it contact one of the Gorts because you do qualify to be able to see them all.

Thanks Dave, yeah, have sold a couple of LP's through the Classifieds but it is a wee bit more labour intensive, one by one, than listing on discogs.

As for ihaveit.io, tried to upload my discogs inventory there but I'd somehow saved it with".zip"(?) on the end and ihaveit, ironically, wouldnt have it.

"Upload as .cls or .avs" (or whatever it was) was the extent of their customer support assistance.

You'd think their customer support would be keen as mustard to lure new sellers in, with such a great - but possibly brief - window of opportunity afforded by discogs dropping the ball. Old gits like me need some hand holding through these new fangled procedures.

You're most welcome. :tiphat: Perhaps try re-saving your inventory as jpegs and then, I'm guessing mind you, you should not have the upload issues you mention. This old Dog has been doing it this way both on Discogs and here at Steve's house for years with no problems. I found ihaveit.io's site to be very fidgety compared Discogs and here.
