LMAO. Deadpool seems aware that there are three timelines.

What's going to happen with the MCU merger with the X-Men's Quicksilver and Avengers Scarlet Witch ?

There's no answer to this, not yet.

Scarlet Witch already exists, Quicksilver is dead. Nothing changes in the MCU.

Maybe they'll keep the X-Men separate in another universe? That would be cool.

But if it happens maybe Scarlet Witch just says " huh, there's a American version as well" embraces the idea. A big hypothetical ...stranger things have happened. :)

Well, she would be super-shocked to see there's a Peter Maximoff with powers similar to his late brother, but looking different.

In truth, X-Men's Quicksilver has a sister, we just don't know who she is and if she's a mutant. Unlikely, even. She's not Magneto's daughter.

These timelines really screw me up. Even DC is in the act Wonder Woman 1984. :D

Game Of Thrones are doing a prequel next..1000 years earlier.

I assume that, in the Logan timeline, the X-23 kids will become the future X-Men when they grow up.

They did some extensive reshoots to make it more scary and "horror-like". It will be a different entry in the saga.

It was due to come out ages ago and has been pushed back and back. The film was finished and it was already a horror film. The Dark Phoenix film has also been pushed back but I am not sure if that was ever finished.

The New Mutants film would, I'm pretty sure, have been out by now if Fox hadn't been sold. It seems, from what I can gather (though it's a guess) that Disney told them to hold fire on all new releases as they didn't want anything coming out that was in conflict with their plans for the X-Universe. I think they was to reboot the Mutants in the same way the MCU has been treated, child friendly with links to the whole universe. The New Mutants is a title that could very easily lend itself to a younger audience so perhaps a hard R horror film is the opposite of what Disney want.

And the Dark Phoenix story is the number 1 X-Men story, so perhaps Disney didn't want Fox to waste the story on a one-off film that may not be very good. In the MCU that would form part of a larger story arc and several films.

"Dark Phoenix" will be VERY good, trust me. Even for this movie, they did extensive reshoots and carefully polished the special effects.

Said that, MCU has no detailed plans about rebooting the X-Men. DP and TNM will be released in the summer, they have not been "discarded" at all. I think MCU will see how these two entries will commercially perform before taking some definitive decisions. Fair.
