I honestly don't remember and I am nowhere near my gear at the moment, but I know there were several songs spread through the collection.
I still sort of look at it like, they don't sound as good as the pure mixes, but they still sound good.

It's a shame that so many multi's and masters have been destroyed, lost or stolen over the years ....

I wonder if they found room for the brilliant "A flock of blue flying things grinned down at us... they were half heifer and half dressing table... Heee hee heeeee... hee hee heeee..." which was at the end of the Coat of Many Cupboards version of 'Vanishing Girl'. Shame if it has been forgotten (except by me).

They're saying 19 tracks, including two bonus tracks. But 25 O'Clock had 6 tracks, and Psonic Psunspot had 10. 16 plus 2 is 18. My guess is that "...Human Beans" is track 17, followed by two bonus tracks.

I don't know what to make of this track list. "Psonic Psunspot" is the title of an album, not a song, unless they recorded an unreleased song by that name. But it's not like Wilson to put a bonus track in the middle like that. I could be wrong, but I suspect that whoever typed that up saw the album title Psonic Psunspot right before the list of Psunspot tracks, and added it thinking it was a song title.

Are the vinyl reissues of 25 O'Clock and Psonic Psunspot cut from the analog masters? It may have already been discussed, but I'm not sure.
I have the original vinyl, but the more recent lp reissues seem to be significantly quieter.

So much material with great 5.1 possibilities.

Had not listened to this for a long time, until yesterday. I forgot how hilarious (and great) "Your gold dress" is.

I love how "tiny" the fuzz riff is... makes the band seem even louder/bigger than normal when they join in...

If ever, in the history of hi-fi, there has been a reason to upgrade to 5.1 then surely this is it? :)

And each time they return to the tiny fuzz riff, the slide at the beginning of it gets more exaggerated. Very funny.

Yes, and installing 5.1 has the added advantage of making at least that part of the house a hipster-free zone!

The vinyl box sets of "Skylarking" and "English Settlement" are really fab - I have to think they likely lost money on those. Packaging like that isn't cheap. However, they sound really good!

And after all these years I've realized the opening of "The Seeds of Love" was lifted from "Mole from the Ministry".

I adore these and sooooo wish they could have done more, particularly for Oranges and Nonesuch.

The sheet included with the Apple Venus/Skylarking single LP reissue hinted there was more reissues on the way for everything but Skylarking and English Settlement, and they’ve already put out a new Black Sea LP. They’re definitely on the way I’d say (though maybe just as normal priced records rather than deluxe boxes), and I’d think they may very well be an improvement over the originals since my OG US press of O&L is very thin sounding and Nonsuch is a digital recording but analog mix originally and perhaps they’ll use the tape this time rather than a version that’s been digitized again and THEN cut to vinyl.

This upmix was not done by Steven Wilson but by the mastering engineer Simon Heyworth, and there is no detail about the process in the booklet.
