1989-1993 in a New Jersey high school *raises hand*. Ricci and Sammi Hanratty resemble each other as the adult and teen versions of Misty so closely, it is uncanny. Similar looks, costuming and makeup is part of it, sure, but much of it is the acting. I can't quite say that of the other three.
They both nailed the way she can look innocent or innocuous while plotting the worst thing you can imagine
It’s season 2 premiere day! MTV on Instagram: "Here’s Kurt Loder from MTV News with the latest on the search for the #Yellowjackets, the missing high school soccer team."
I don't watch a lot of TV these days (retirement) but enjoy the various series from HBO, Showtime, etc. Sunday nights are drive through pizza and a new episode of something at 9 or 10. It's always disappointing those 8-12 episode runs conclude and none of the networks have something new started. So when I finished The Last of Us, Waco and Your Honor I was so glad to see that Perry Mason and Yellowjackets had begun. I'm not really looking for highbrow drama, just an entertaining story to follow with lots of twists and turns. Yellowjackets might not be for everyone but for me it's just what to doctor ordered.
Here is NC we have cookout's called, "Pig Pickings" where we slow cook a whole hog for hours and then when it's done and we've consumed beer all day in anticipation we stand around and eat (pick) from the cooker. From this point on I'll never view it quite the same way.
This show has fully taken over my brain. I’ve been falling down Reddit rabbit holes of fan theories and jokes. The best theory I’ve seen so far is Spoiler They’re stranded near an abandoned illegal mining operation, and the symbol is a map for folks to find the underground mines. They’re being exposed to mercury and slowly poisoned. Explained more in this post: Reddit - Dive into anything

My wife doesn’t like the show so I have limited time to watch it when she’s not home. I wish I could do a rewatch!
Ashley Lyle has confirmed that there’s a bonus episode coming sometime before S3. So it’ll probably be a while. But I think this will have the Jason Ritter cameo that was publicized and MIGHT be a standalone episode telling the story of the dead guy in the cabin
I thought Season 2 struggled a little bit in the first half but finished very strong. I'm excited to see where it goes. Surprised (especially with its amazing soundtrack) that this series hasn't gotten more traction on this forum.
Both Radiohead needledrops this season gave me chills. And I loved how the one episode started with Nirvana.
