Hmmm. I already have the original 5.1 on DVD-A, but I love Wilson's take on things. I like his surround more than the stereo remixes though. I might have to check that one out!

Close to the Edge with a blue cover? I simply can't get over that.....

I wonder if these will be sold as separates. I like SW's work but the digital aspect makes me wonder if the SW DVD-A stereo mix would sound better.

Pre ordered. I've got excellent pressings of all of these, but what are you gonna do? Its Yes and Steven Wilson lol.

Probably most looking forward to Relayer, even the best pressings I've heard can be shrill at times

  9. Why ? the originals are still out there and the artists usually approve.

Some are great some are not. He’s pretty consistent and great w Tull and XTC . Pepper was bad

Because the original version will vanish? I don’t get it...just don’t buy them.

I really hope Steven Wilson quits remastering artists I like.

    He’s costing me a lot of money.:help:

Dude, tell me about it! I've probably single handedly financed an addition to his house lol

I don't get it. If I have a chance to buy a better sounding old favorite, I'm all over it. If his remix of Aqualung didn't change minds, nothing will...

I wonder how much Wilson charges to do a remix. “Open Your Eyes” and “Heaven and Earth” desperately need it.

Preordered today. 2018 is shaping up to be an expensive year.

All of them are included I believe (?).

2 x LP's for TFTO plus another 4 x LP's for The Yes Album, Close To The Edge, Fragile and Relayer.

When did a double album start counting as 2 LPs?!

Isn't that like asking when a single album started counting as 1 LP?

Not really. You wouldn't call Soft Machine's Third their third and fourth album.

    ¿Que? Pepper?

  22. Discussion about remixed albums. I like most of the Tull and XTC but not Sgt Pepper at all. I do know that one was Martin and not Wilson..

I thought about this. But I’ve enjoyed all his Tull vinyl...so I’m not going to let it get in my way...
