That's an interesting idea for a movie. If it was true, the Music Corner forum would probably become Hendrix-centric.
I really want to see this. I'm not even a fan of the Beatles.
There was an Outer Limits episode where a man goes back in time to meet his idol, Elvis, but ends up having to take his place. That was good too. This looks better.
I tried writing a screenplay about seven years ago about a guy who travels back in time and introduces some of our greatest rock songs in the ’30s, but I could never figure out the first act.
It sounds like an episode of The Twilight Zone called "The Once And Future King" (one of my favorite Twilight Zone stories):
I'ms sure the guy wakes up and it was all a dream, but still...
Nice try, but rock wouldn't have survived without the beatles!
When I first heard about this film a few months ago, I assumed it would be somewhat more ambitious, dealing with society and culture....but this just seems to be a lighthearted fantasy about their music.
Looks rather cool
It would be awesome to get a cameo from Paul and Ringo !
R - Hey kid! We wrote those songs!
P - Ahem, Richie...
R - well, Paul did.
I see there's a scene in which the main character pretends to write "Something" at the James Corden TV show and the girl gets emotional. I wonder what her reaction would be like if he sang "Fuh You" to her instead?
He could also pretend to write "Come On To Me" and tell James "maybe we should do a Carpool Karaoke episode"
So where are John, Paul, George and Ringo in this universe? Working at Marks and Spencers or are they completely wiped from existence?
When that lady says, "It's no Coldplay.".....
I made a face.......like I just smelt a fart.....
So basically they've made an entire movie out of one of my teenage daydreams.
I thought of this exact idea a month ago. What if I knew the songs but the Beatles never existed and people thought I wrote them? Weird coincidence.
Wonder how the movie ends.
I’m thinking the feet toward the end of the trailer are Paul and Ringo. Same footwear as the Abbey Road cover.
Remember I once said Paul feet are weird
Well, I just checked precisely, and those looks weird too, so there's no doubt for me that this is Paul! His foot shape looks identical!!
yes I know I'm the weirdo but I'm completely sure this is Paul and Ringo
Well, we do know about Paul
Based on the Philip K. Dick novel, The Man In The High Submarine.
I hate this sort of thing, but this looks like fun
I think you mean, The High Man In The Submarine.
Actually, it may have been Do Blue Meanies Dream Of Android Apple Bonkers, or Blade Ringo...gonna have to check!
...and STILL! G. Love and Special Sauce are getting gigs...!
...and Magic Alex has a regular slot on QVC!
One upside If this story were true; I’d be several hundred thousand dollars richer. Maybe even a million bucks
