The e-mail I received said 20%, but when I use the code it only takes ff 10%.

    I got an email for a two-for-one sale: YMB2G1

    That's actually a 3-for-2 sale...

The $6.99 single disc cds go down to $5.59 with the code for me, which is 20% off.

And the Buy 2 Get 1 Free code (if that's what it is) isn't valid when I try it.

Sorry, misworded that, my bad. Meant to say "buy 2, get one". :hide:

Oh, and it only applies if all three items are single-discs.

The buy-two-one-free code isn't working for me either.

    Yourmusic codes

Did you try the code? I got an e-mail for the YMSALE code, and it works. But when I tried the YMB2G1 code, it came up as no longer valid.

I cancelled my membership last week. Looks like I should have waited a few days.

The YMSALE seems to work at 20%

I want to use the 3 for 2 but it won't work.

Maybe once you enter one of the two codes you are automatically ineligible for the other?

YMSALE did not work for me.

I don't think so. When I entered the YMB2G1 code a couple of days ago, it worked. Now it doesn't, but YMSALE works.

This web site's slow speed is becoming a nuisance. I've taken to opening a separate tab for Yourmusic to load at its leisure, with front page first load times around 48 seconds tonight.

The YMSALE code didn't work for me earlier today, but this evening when I enter it, it gives me the 20% off sale.

Thanks for posting this code. I subscribe but didn't get the e-mail. YMSALE got me 20% off a Kinks SACD, a Peter Himmelman CD and two Paul Simon remastered digipak CDs. Six bucks each, shipped. Nice.

Still getting the bugs out, apparently

I can get both codes to work today, but it's a chore to clear the first code and enter the second. Unlike BMG's site, there is no way to remove a code. One must usually wait an hour or so until a cookie expires, then enter the new code. So it's advisable to decide ahead of time how many discs you want. If the number is a multiple of three, use YMB2G1. If not, use YMSALE.

Yeah, 3 for the price of 2 with code YMB2G1.
$4.67/CD even better :agree:  :righton:

Anyone know if YMSALE is still working? I've never been able to get YMB2G1 code to work, but the other worked fine a couple of days ago.

A couple of new ECM titles I want to pick up.

    No longer valid

I just tried both, and neither works.

The 20% one was only for a couple days (10/1-10/2).

I never got the buy-2-get-1-free to work. I swear they sent me an email with it, though!!

Ditto. I got the other code to work, but I never would have known about it if it weren't for this forum. Funny they should email me a code that doesn't work, when there's another one that does...

    This may help some

There are some quirks on the Yourmusic web site that may give the impression the codes do not work.

The first occurs when you enter the code on the checkout page, and the web site asks for your user name and password. Once you enter those, the checkout page returns, but without the code applied. You must enter the code again to have it accepted. This is also an irritating quirk on the BMG site.

The second obstacle occurs when you try to change codes. If you've already entered one code, there is no method available for removing the code to try another one. The BMG site does not share this quirk, since it has a "Remove" button. Yourmusic will not accept a new code for an hour or so.

Has anybody been charged for their yourmusic purchases lately?

I purchased CDs with "20% off" code and the "buy 2 get 3" CD codes and the charges have not shown up on my credit card. Also the monthly queue CD has been sent and received, but not charged to the credit card yet.??

All the sale CDs were sent 10/4 and were received within 7 days. No charges have appeared on my credit card. (that's 8 CDs without charges....yet?)

    Still slow, but not as

My charges are not as late as yours, but they are late. I received my monthly CD about a week ago, with no charge yet. On the positive side, the web site seems not as dreadfully slow as it's been.
