    5 that I prefer...

1.Miles Davis / Filles de Kilimanjaro (1969)...Mademoiselle Mabry created around Hendrix / The Wind Cries Mary is transcendent, the rest is quite entertaining as well

2.Chet Baker / Chet (1959)...one of very few Anglo jazz artists I dig

3.Al Green Greatest Hits (1975)...the premier make out music from the premier Soul man of the 1970s

4.Roxy Music / Avalon (1981)...the Al Green of the new MTV generation

5.Rare Earth / I Know I'm Losing You (1970)...Playboy reviewed this record just after it was released & claimed that the title was the best song for making love they had heard in a long time, Playboy was right!

And now upon my leave I need to play side 3 of "Agharta"

Usually he's into metal so Opeth is the goto because their songs are long.

If he's into whatever I just ask what he likes but when it comes to the actual swordfighting I normally pick Pete Namlook. That works no matter where on the vanilla/kinky spectrum he is -- it's the ultimate sex music. And since the songs are good and long I can use a good half-hour or 45 minute one to give me an idea how long I've been edging him.

Well for starters my wife would be very unhappy if I brought a date home ! , but if you asked what I played for her at the start of our own courtship , it would have to be Irish folk music and in particular Dolores Keane and Mary Black . We still have high hopes of seeing Mary Black but it seems that the wonderful Dolores Keane will never tour again .

I am hoping (in some perverse way) that the Kung Fu Fighting album gets the SACD treatment. Wonder if DV can locate the quad master. That is if it was even mixed quad to begin. Hell, I just want stereo layer anyway. Instant buy! :uhhuh:
