FYI Vinyl hounds, these are now for sale at your local Office Depot - Courtesy of Scotch Tape. The tonearm is what are you tear off the tape. But I’m just thinking it would look weird with tape because then you got half turntable half tape deck.

Sorry I messed up that headline can some gory fix it?

Could come in handy for those who like to play records backwards. Looks like it would spin counter clockwise.

It probably plays better than a Crosley.

It's a Scotch tape dispenser in the shape of a portable turntable.

It looks like a 1963 player just as lightweight arms are coming in, but this still destroys records at light speed. Could have looked more elegant imo.

I’d totally buy one of these. That’s hilarious.

LOL. It is heavy because it needs weight to stay in place. what's really cool is it has a plastic DUSt COVer that raises. I shoulda bought one.

Even as a phonophile I have to laugh at the unintended irony of a turntable shaped tape dispenser making getting tape 10x harder then it needs to be.

First thing you need to do is swap out the stock arm.

But the tape is really warm and pleasing to use, not cold and clinical like my typical dispenser
  16. Kinda reminds me of back in the day Scotch brand magnetic recording tape was the brand of choice in many recording studios. It seems quite fitting that a tape dispenser was made to resemble a record player.

Just got an ad in the mail yesterday from Bed, Bath, and Beyond. The catalog advertised a collapsible container, and the photo showing the open container, the container was filled with LPs. Another entry in the catalog showed shelving, and one of the shelves also had LPs. I now see commercials on TV with turntables playing LPs, etc.

There's gotta be a way to make a reel to reel tape dispenser...
  23. How about a horizontal double-tape dispenser?
