I was going to post Throbbing Gristle's 20 Jazz Funk Greats here, for its fabulous Industrial chic, but instead I'm going with the Mission of Dead Souls cover, featuring Sleazy's beautiful shot of the Golden Gate bridge, which from this angle seems to stretch into infinity...

I've seen this mentioned and posted here over the years and thought I should find a copy. I came across one while on vacation in California about six months ago. I like the album. Yep, she looks very cool on the cover.

This one is one of the best for me.
Seems like richey Edwards explain the álbum songs one by one to artist Jean saville and after he gave them permission to use that image.

My 3rd Favorite Album from the 1990s. Just Brilliant. Too bad the Manics never reached that greatness again.

 

Thanks! I used to think the little guy was in 2 separate pictures on the front and back before I learned that it's all one picture and they're identical twins.

 

I love this one. Something atmospheric about live stage shots with a dark background. For a long time, I thought the stack of amps on the back cover was a window.

 

Best multi-layered cover ever! (Who came up with the idea of putting a round record in a square cover anyway?)
