It does. I could see it on a shelf next to Physical Graffiti and Bad Company in the mid-70s :biglaugh:

Blue Note had some great, great covers. This is one of my favorites:

Yes, a terrific sleeve, the shot of Sonny, the color tinting, the arrangement of the typography. This particular era of Blue Note design is incredible.

Just saw there wasa nice looking new vinyl version of this, or at least the sealed sleeve looks tasty. Erice merson back on the back sleeve and all. Remastered and looks like its got a peelable banana and gatefold sleeve.
It was in a local record shop earlier.

Not the Golden Gate Bridge! As you are from Eire, we'll excuse the error. Bay Bridge.

That definitely reminds me of this:

Those of us in Manhattan high-rises definitely enjoyed WLIR (and then WDRE) as well.
Hard to imagine the 80s without it, frankly.

This one's probably been put in here a few times already (haven't had the chance to look through all 13 pages) but this is the first cover that really made me stop and just become amazed at the immense levels of detail that were put into this.
    God bless you Klaus Voormann

There are so many covers that Vaughan Oliver did that blew my mind, I don’t even think I can pick one

When my wife and I met in high school this is one of a few albums that we both had in our collections. Cool slip in/out sleeve design that changed the meaning of the picture.
