King Crimson ‘Thela Hun Ginjeet’
Say what you will about nu-metal and/or certain practitioners thereof, this lil' number does capture the essense of the OP, does it not ? Yes. Yes it does.... Henry Rollins called this stuff "music to **** **** up to." He was correct.
One of my favorite tracks on that album. I’m a huge Talk Talk fan and I totally agree with you, that first album is brilliant in it’s own way, just like the rest. What an absolutely brilliant mind Mark Hollis was. R.I.P.
Rage Against the Machine, Testify. It gets me so wired up I want to smash and burn everything every time I hear it.
I like "You Don't Know Me At All" by Don Henley... I love the line, "You should have killed me baby, you always looked so good in black," it's hard to beat.
But honorable mention to Pearl Jam's "Rearview Mirror." With lyrics like:
once you, were in my...
i gather speed from you ****ing with me
once and for all i'm far away"
Tchaikovsky - Manfred Symphony, end of mvmt 1. Toscanini is about the only conductor who gets the drama correct for that one, too. Hair-raising.
Black Sabbath: Hole in the sky.
Bob Mould: Black sheets of Rain.
and another vote for the ugly masterpiece by The Cure (100 years).
Something to make me feel less angry:
Love me some Albert Ayler when I'm PO'd.
Interstellar Space lp by John Coltrane makes me feel better.
Got me through my first divorce in the very early 90's...
the mats - shut up 6:15
Hüsker Dü - I'll Never Forget You
For me too.
Graham Nash - Chicago
Peter, Paul, and Mary - The Rising of the Moon, The Great Mandella
The Fall - Last Orders
Hmmm... Why? Personal, or just what went down during the recording?
This will do. Yep.
Love this entire album too by the way.

It just sounds like I feel in some very rare times. I've never listened to the words, it's totally a sound thing.
Uncle Lou is pissed there! Very angry and crankeable song.
