Just like the thread title says, this thread is for you to tell us your favorite albums of 1966. Choose 1, choose 5, choose 50. Whatever. It's all up to you. I'll go first, here's 10 of my favorites in alphabetical by the artist's/band's name:
    1. The Beach Boys - Pet Sounds
    2. The Beatles - Revolver
    3. Buffalo Springfield - s/t
    4. John Coltrane - Ascension
    5. Bob Dylan - Blonde On Blonde
    6. The Kinks - Face To Face
    7. Love - s/t
    8. The Monkees - s/t

    Bob Dylan, Blonde on Blonde
Rolling Stones, Aftermath (UK version for me)
    Byrds, Fifth Dimension

Looking at the Wikipedia page for releases of this year...I never knew that Blonde on Blonde and Pet Sounds were released on exactly the same date: May 16, 1966. What a release date!

Yeah, that's weird. Imagine having only money for one album and having to choose between the two. Ugh. Great picks! All are stone classics in my book.
