That's a nice list, a lot of overlap with mine. I didn't pick the Vanessa Daou record, but could've easily, that's a really nice one. I recall it just got a vinyl reissue not too long ago.

 

One of my faves from '95 was the first of Mick Harvey's albums offering an English interpretation of the music of Serge Gainsbourg:
