I just watch this and loved it. While Zahler did not do a Bone Tomahawk II, he did write and direct Dragged Across Concrete which I highly recommend. Its got the same deliberate storytelling vibe with excellent characters. This guy has written and directed two films and they are both terrific. He is on my watch list.

 

Seen both his follow up films. And they are good.. but, Bone Tomahawk is something special. The q&a in the extras ( dvd ) is worth watching as well with the entire cast, cept KR.

Near the end of the Q&A.. Audience gets a chance to ask questions, a lady asks the director “ was it your intention to make a film for 75 years old men “.
