    The beat is so vicious you dont notice how lush the strings sre throughout, then the actual string break is a brilliantly chosen two note cycle.

    I'm a super fan of George Martin's arranging but after listening to the new Pepper box set it reinforces my opinion that Mike Leander did a very nice job with the "She's Leaving Home" arrangement also and it doesn't sound all that different than George Martin's style or at least not jarringly so.

    it's odd ….. but this just came to mind … mainly for the parts of the arrangement after the 1st chorus, after the halfway point ….. it's relatively simply yet very effective. one of the highlights of the song for me …
