The track listing on the back is totally wrong. Very enjoyable disc, probably better than the sundazed set.

    Cool!
    I've never seen that before.
    Great on so many levels.
Two great singers, two great guitar players.
I didn't know whether to focus on them singin, or them playing guitars.
Then, the dual harmony guitar solo!
    Right on!
You rarely ever see Waylon play any other electric guitar than the Telecaster too.
    Great!

Surprised nobody has mentioned the forthcoming BF box set sale 1975-2018. Seven pages to choose from, some have to be specially ordered & a few are deleted & unavailable. Sale prices not shown but "when the summer ends the % come" which seems to mean the discounted prices will be available in the autumn. Keep checking their website at CD Box Set

This is probably another thread in itself.
Why is Bill Haley only really considered a pioneer of rock n roll after 'rock around the clock'?
This BF set (which I don't have) indicates also that Bill and the guys were moving mountains before
    'RATC'.
History also shows, all this earlier work, the 'hillbilly'/'western swing' soon to be 'rockabilly'/'rock n roll' is somewhat
forgotten by what has become the legacy of the birth of 'rock n roll'.
It's clear these guys were doing 'RATC' style material long before 1955.
Have the guys been dealt a dis justice for not being recognized for their earlier influential material?
Obviously 'Blackboard Jungle' changed everything, but why the long delay?
    The BF box set.

Q: Is it common for Bear Family Records to send this email, even if the item is a pre-order for an upcoming release:
    Dear X XXX XXXX

thanks for your order no. YYYYY. We are using our best endeavors to fulfill your demands in terms of shipping your order in a promptly manner. Our staff is re-ordering temporarily sold-out items from our suppliers on a daily basis. For most of the 30,000+ catalog items we can guarantee a delivery time from just a few days, to a maximum of three weeks. As they are stocking contemporary standard repertoire, most of the major online stores are buying from just a handful of sources, thus allowing them shipping on short terms. We are buying from several hundred small accounts, and even smallest accounts from all over the world. Record dealers, tiny labels, distributors – and even artists themselves are supplying us with our fine catalog of American country, rock’n’roll, blues and roots music. Once an item is sold out, it may take the producer a couple of months to re-print, due to minor budgets or other commitments. It may happen that a musician is on a world-wide tour and not replying to his emails. Or a label owner regular operation is demanding his full attention. You may rest assured that we are undertaking whatever we can do to quicken shipping processes. Sometimes, however, our hands as tight as we are depending on the supply availability of our partners.
If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are always there for you.

We need to discuss 50s rock legend Rudy "Tutti" Grayzell. At 86, Rudy has aged well in mind and body. It was his friend Elvis Presley who gave him the nickname Rudy "Tutti." Born Rudolph Paiz Jimenez, Rudy has claimed to have coined the phrase "rockabilly" while having a conversation with a young Roy Orbison. Bear Family released the superb 1CD comp entitled "Let's Get Wild," which is an essential purchase for all fans of rockabilly and remains the best option when purchasing his classic material.

It would be nice to see Bear Family or another reissue label release a proper anthology of Sunny & The Sunliners (aka Sunny & the Sunglows) on CD. Having aged well in body and mind, Sunny Ozuna continues to perform and record.
