Hi guys and gals, I’ve been thinking of getting a few 4K Blu Ray titles of my favorite films. If any of you have these titles would you mind giving a quick recommendation if you think they are good:

    2001: Space Odyssey
    Jaws
    Schindler’s List
    Alien
    The Matrix
    The Dark Knight Trilogy
    Lawrence Of Arabia
    Jurassic Park 1,2 & 3
    Halloween

My brother just gave me a copy of a movie called "Alita Battle Angel", should I even bother to watch it?

I can heartily recommend 2001, Alien and Matrix in 4k. I have Jaws but have not watched it as yet.

Are you buying the box set to get Lawrence? I'm hoping they release this individually as I cant justify the price of the box set given the other titles in there. But reviews I have read say its a great transfer.

Cool. I’m gonna get those 3 that you recommended. I’m quite excited about the Lord Of The Rings 4K trilogy. It should be awesome.

Amazon is on speed dial with 4k discs here. Must have bought 60 or 70 in the last few weeks. Only had one that we had to return for replacement...Jaws. All the others have played with no problem on our LG and Panasonic players. Last 4k discs we received were the Back to the Future and Mummy sets.

Thanks, that's about the way my brother explained it to me, which as of late, is almost a compliment, right? My brother doesn't have a 4K TV or a player like mine (OPPO 205), so he always gives me the 4K movies that come in a package purchase, which is very nice of him.

Shall do! My wife is off work this week and I know that she will have ZERO interest in this one, so next week more than likely! I do have the new Herb Alpert Documentary on DVD and we BOTH are excited to watch that!
