Not counting live albums because it's nearly cheating

    Klaus Schulze - Timewind 59:14

Really I could probably give that to a lot of his records however.

Since you just named the opening track of each of those albums as a low point, and I consider each to be the best part of its respective album, we are clearly not going to agree. ;)

My first choice was a live album. The OP did not exclude live albums but if so, and assuming "flawless" means "I think the whole album is great", then I would go with Dylan's Blonde on Blonde, 72:57 I like every song on it and to me, most of them are great.

I think Funeral For A Friend is his finest and strongest moment in his entire career.

Kiss "Alive!" (over 78 minutes)... maybe the drum solo is a tad long, otherwise every note (whether live or studio enhanced) is perfect.

Thin Lizzy's "Live And Dangerous" (over 76 minutes) is close (with the same qualifier as above).

No problem. We all have our favorites, otherwise we would all be clones. BORING!

Transatlantic for sure. That was where I was going to go. Great from start to finish. I like Tales, but not as much.

An album is a single release, so a double "album" would have to count.
Flawless is a slightly deceptive word and also very subjective ... there are albums I love that are by no means technically flawless, but then they are flawless from a being enjoyable perspective ...

Pink Floyd The Wall was the most important album in my life for a long time .. and qualifies here. I have no idea on it's length, but I guess eighty or ninety minutes.
    as stated above
    Transatlantic - Whirlwind is sensational
Godley and Creme - Consequences is another long album that I love.

Magical Mystery Tour, the Beatles - 37 minutes

The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn,
    Pink Floyd - 42 minutes

All Things Must Pass, George Harrison - 77 minutes ... this is a fiddle, obviously (omits the jams which are, erm, flawed.) But it's the only flawless double album I can think of.

All three are in my "desert island discs" list.

Tiny Dancer is a great track and certainly not a low point. I never would write that. It's a great track that I believe drags on at over 6 min. Tightening it up by trimming 2 min of additional choruses would make for a better listen. I'm positive I'm in the minority, though. :p

Was just listening to I'm Still Standing last night which is a pretty killer track but boy, is it short clocking in at only 3:03!

Going back to GBYBR, the last track, Harmony, is my favorite on the album but it's also too short, IMHO, at 2:45.

Great tracks leave you wanting more. There can be long fun interesting tracks, such as Allman Bros Whipping Post at Fillmore East (22:40), but if a track is long and relentlessly repetitious, it's rare that I'll be glad to hang in there. Examples of this are American Pie, MacArthur Park, etc. This last comment is purely about length and not about the quality of the song or songwriting.

It's interesting to read the widely divergent opinions on Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. IMO, the only real clunker is the wretched "Dirty Little Girl." Elton and Bernie were both out to lunch when they wrote that one.

Interesting. It's epic in scale but it has always left me cold. Personally, the title track of that album is, IMHO, his very best. It simultaneously features some of his wonderfully inventive phrasing (watch this tutorial to see why), fantastic songwriting, and singing which fluctuates quickly and quite a bit between multiple octaves throughout. It's a monster to sing properly.

Uh-oh. This is one of those virtue signaling posts, isn't it? :shake:

I think the track is pretty cool. Nice guitar-drenched groove and a harder edged-sounding EJ singing.

You brought up a good idea for a thread so I created it. One about GBYBR's weak link. Thanks! There are sure to be many different opinions on that one.

I love Sandinista! a lot, but even saying that I have a hard time calling it a "flawless" record.
