George’s face when he realises he’s suffering from “shrinkage” is priceless.

It's from the episode where Kramer decides to start bathing in cola, but needs to try every brand out to see which is the best for sanitary purposes.

Hilarious as the various tryout scenes are, the best in the episode is where Elaine says "Cola?" disapprovingly to Kramer after he's given up the idea, and he flashes back to the brand that was MUCH too bubbly, and makes that Kramer face & shakes all over & goes "Gigak!"

    VERY funny. :agree:

The outtakes from that bit are amazing.

Julia cannot look at Jerry and keep a straight face but that seems like par for the course.

I know. I call up that outtake on Youtube periodically when in need of cheering up. How could anyone not break out in fits of laughter with Jerry Stiller screaming in your face? The amazing thing is he never breaks, never smiles. Absolute pro.

I have zero memory of an episode where Kramer bathes in cola.

Can you send a link to the episode synopsis?

I think Shoes1916 is having a little fun with us, and maybe also suggesting the storylines got a little ridiculous in the last couple of seasons.

It may have only aired once; they were pushing it with the hot coffee thing & the cola companies were pretty powerful at that point.

I'm trying to remember; I think Kramer jets into Jerry's pad & starts rummaging around in his fridge...

    K: Snapple, Snapple, Snapple...

    J: Can I help you?

K: You need to get with the times, my friend.

J: I regret that our selection of refrigerated beverages is not up to your expectations, sir.

K: Pffft! The cola nut has been shown to have remarkable healing properties, and I don't see a Shasta in sight!

    J: Cola nut?

K: Scientific American, Jerry - you drop a diamond in a glass of Coke, and 24 hours later? Gone!

    J: Cat burglars?

K: The exfoliating potential alone makes cola the wonder tonic of our time!

J: I'll keep that in mind next time the medicine wagon pulls into town.

K: (Crazy frustrated hand gesture & exit)

Then some stupid subplot about Elaine & tampons, and then a montage of Kramer buying colas & trying to get them home (little red wagon; Newman's mail sack stuffed with RC Cola; etc.); my favorite moment is when Kramer eyes a big display of 7 Up & isn't sure what to do.

I'd provide the payoff (the effects of cola as a sanitary product & the best/worst cola for that purpose), but it sounds like people haven't seen the episode & I don't want to spoil it!
