The bad rug didn't help. The demo I saw on the digital restoration of Diamonds Are Forever made it very easy to see the toupee webbing on his forehead; the exec giving the demo pointed it out to me. But I think Connery would've been OK to be paired with Diana Rigg (who was just 8 years younger).

I believe DR did not gel with GL in OHMSS too uncouth Playboy mags type. I'm sure there would have been a better chemistry with Sean.

Yeah, there was not a lot of chemistry there. But Diana Rigg was probably the hottest, most interesting Bond girl in the history of the franchise (with ***** Galore as a close second).

  8. I'm sure you know this but Christopher Lee was related to Ian Fleming (by marriage if I recall correctly) and was Fleming's choice to play Dr. No.

Kind of cool that both of the Avengers leads were in Bond films.

No i did not know that about the Hammer Star CL. Apart from Cary Grant( Lottas money please).. Patrick McGoogan and Roger Moore passed on Dr No ( TV demands). Roger and Diana would have made a great pair in OHMSS methinks. Is the Avengers TV Series on Blu Ray yet ?

  10. Sadly not in the U.S. yet although it was supposed to begin to be rolled out in June of this year in the UK but that ran into some sort of issue.

Only interested in the Peel -Color/b&w episodes. Also, Clint Eastwood passed on either Diamonds or OHMSS.

I have only seen 3, not a huge fan. That being said, Skyfall was amazing. Loved every second of it.

The other two I have seen are GoldenEye and The World Is Not Enough.

Yes the Christmas party scene with all the gals munching on their pork chops. A brief glimpse of purdy pleased Rod Stewart's seventies girlfriend( one of the many). The girl with the glasses was in Here We Go Round The Mulberry Bush underrated sixties flick.

I liked Casino Royale in the theater, but recently re-watched it and didn't care for it anymore.

I'm in the process of listening to the audio books from AudioGo in the order that the books were written and when I'm done with each book, watching the associated film. I've finished Casino Royale and am almost done with Live and Let Die.... both of these books are better than the respective film, and I imagine that will hold true throughout the series.
