    • Professor Fate (Jack Lemmon) from The Great Race. Not only does his plans never work, but they usually backfire on him.
    • Dick Dastardly (voiced by Paul Winchell originally) from The Wacky Races (consider that if he raced honestly he'd easily win every race since he's usually miles ahead of everyone else in the race). He always loses because of his cheating.
    • Bugs Bunny (voiced by Mel Blanc) in the cartoons where he faces Cecil Turtle (the only character to beat Bugs every time they've faced each other). In those cartoons Bugs is played as the villain and loses every time, except for their last meeting where although Bugs "wins" it is a pyrrhic victory.
    • Daffy Duck (voiced by Mel Blanc) in the cartoons where he faces Bugs Bunny as an opponent.
    • Mr. Mxyzptlk (voiced by Gilbert Gottfried) in Superman The Animated Series. No matter how often they face off, Superman defeats him each and every time by easily outsmarting him (at one point he disappears to face Superman and returns after losing 5 seconds later, we don't even need to see the loss at that point).
    • Eric Von Zipper (Harvey Lembeck) from The Beach Party series. A parody of Marlon Brando from The Wild One, he basically fails in everything he tries to do.
