We live in the area the show is about (generally speaking). My wife's brother turned us on to it. We very much liked it, including the pace. Then the lead character jumped into bed with his ex. We turned off the show and never went back. The other part that we always laughed at was the women on the show. Every woman was "hot", yet in that area, the lion's share of single women that age have completely let themselves go physically and are way over tatoo'd, with a few kids filling up their ancient Chevy chevette oil burners, as they drive down the road smoking almost as bad as the car, with its rusty fenders exposed by pealed paint. And don't even get me started on drug use around here. i.e. it was too unbelieveable.
Same kinda beef as I had about HBO's The Wire after living in West Baltimore for six years this Century...way too many charming and 'clean-cut' gangstas and 'high-minded' journalists on there to allow for the necessary 'suspension of disbelief"...LOL
The Wire Battlestar Galactica Game of Thrones True Detective- for that 1st season alone. The Newsroom Person of Interest Deadwood Outlander Fringe Lost
No! No Region 2. No interest in m- region player or Netflix..etc. Looks like I’m screwed for some shows. Pity.. saying that I only like watching tv series either from DVDs or Blu Rays ..like something tangible in my mitts.

The first 10 that came to mind — The Sopranos Breaking Bad The Wire Game Of Thrones Mad Men Mr. Robot Six Feet Under Fargo The West Wing Veep
Deadwood The Sopranos GOT Mad Men The Marvelous Mrs. Maizel Bosch The West Wing The Good Doctor Blue Bloods Fast and Loud I started to watch Breaking Bad several times and lost interest every time. Didn't even get through the first season
First five (six?) seasons of Letterkenny are on Blu-Ray now. Most bear repeat watchings (especially if you are unaccoustomed to Ontairio speech patterns and hockey slang).
Same here. I got to the melting bathtub episode and that was about it. Art is subjective. BTW, my wife and I kinda liked Blue Bloods. We'll probably fire it up again if nothing else seems good at the time on a rainy night.
Sopranos Deadwood Rome Game of Thrones Mad Men Vikings The Last Kingdom The Shield Boardwalk Empire Justified That's 10........ Others: Mountain Men Live Free or Die Outlander ( Seasons 1-3 ONLY ) Taboo Breaking Bad Spartacus The Tudors The Office ( Seasons 1-4 ) Lost ( Evangaline Lilly ) Westworld (Season 1 ONLY ) Forged in Fire American Gods Halt and Catch Fire That's all I got for now.
Blue Bloods 'jumped the shark' for me when the politics strayed into 'Dick Wolf ' territory a couple seasons back (like most other police procedurals have now).
Yeah .. available region 1. Kinda frustrating only season one season ( dvd ) and not the other seasons region 2..that is.
That sort of thing is what usually kills these shows for us. The political or "social justice" shark jumping.
Game of Thrones Breaking Bad The Walking Dead Alone Firefly Mad Men Rome Fargo True Detective Sopranos
24 The Bridge (Den/Swe) Curb Your Enthusiasm Enterprise The Office (UK) Line Of Duty The Walking Dead Mad Men The Killing (Den) Prison Break Plenty of others but that's off the top of me head
