This was a pretty good deal. It brought the "Hitsville USA" Motown box to $23.77.

Stupidly, there appears to be no way to see a list of available box sets. I see the 15%-off sale advertised, but it's not a link to anything. Dumb. I guess if they make it difficult, people won't buy anything.

Go to the home page. On the left, under "browse music", pick "box sets" from the drop-down list. I found 16 pages of box sets there.

Oh dear. I actually looked for that and missed it. :shake:

Don't feel bad. It took me a few minutes to find the list.

That's O.K. 16 pages, and nothing piqued my interest. Of course, I'm disappointed by this. Off to the musicoholic thread. ;)

YourMusic is having another $5.99 sale, but I can't get the transaction to complete. :(

Apparently they no longer have the Andy Gibb CD....bummer.

I got the deluxe edition of Rio for $11.98. I wish they still had the Andy Gibb CD. I was selling that for $30+ on eBay!

Me too! Ha. Do the Deluxe editions have the BMG markings where the UPS normally is?

The Tears For Fears and Alan Parsons Deluxe Editions I purchased both had retail UPCs. :)

    Thanks!

  13. Someone should start a thread listing which Yourmusic CDs are the retail versions. That could be valuable information and would help out many on the site.

Then I could mock them for caring about the UPC.

The "Hitsville USA" boxed set I received today had a retail UPC.

They're doing the buy-3-get-1-free sale again - same promo code: YMB3G1 until June 1st

I'm using it to pick up all the Rounder titles I want before they disappear :D

Sweet. I'm gonna get 4 of those Merle Haggard 2fers.

Promo code "599SALE" is good for $5.99 per disc through Sept. 7th.

  21. It also works on many multi-disc sets. Anyone know if the Allman Brothers Band's Dreams box set from Yourmusic is the retail version?

I ordered it a couple of months ago, and it was the retail version. This time I ordered the Cream and Clapton boxed sets. :)

Are yourmusic's Verve remasters (jazz) titles from the past couple years in the digipacks (like the retail versions), or in a jewel case (with yourmusic logo over upc)?

  24. I just received the Statler Brothers' 30th Anniversary box set, and it contains a BMG indicia on the back in small type.

Both the Cream and Clapton boxed sets were retail versions. The Clapton set was also the reconfigured longbox, not the LP size. :)
