I feel sorry for Zooey -- it was a clerical mistake to have all her financial information included with the public records filing. It's an interesting thing about celebrities' wealth: often, the reality is that they're either making a lot less than you think they do, or a helluva lot more. But it's rarely what you expect.

 

One could only hope, but realistically upkeep of a celebrity is pretty pricey. I'm sure she has agents, publicists, assistants, and housekeepers to pay. She may be thrifty but there are some expenses that just have to be paid.

 

Indeed. One needs to bear in mind that whenever you hear about some actor getting some crazy payday for a movie or TV show, the individual probably sees less than half of that - agents, lawyers, publicists, managers all get their percentages and fees.

 

Clothes, furniture, housekeepers, gardners, house repairs/remodels, animal care?, entertainment, car expenses (that could be $5K), house payments (mortgage)...

I think Zooey's divorce has generated more excitement here than the Beatles remasters.

 

If you can find them doing an acoustic version of A Christmas Waltz from Leno in November, it's wonderful. Just the right amount of reverb on her voice. I can't locate it on YT or NBC.com, though. I've seen a HD version on the net, and it's great. The melody is really hard to get out your head, so be forewarned. Visuals not too bad, either.
