13th Floor Elevators on Fuel 2000

Hey garage fiends (all 3 of youse guys!!!) - I was nosing around on the Tower Records site and noticed a comp on those Texas troublemakers of You're Gonna Miss Me fame from Fuel 2000... Anybody out there seen or heard this beast? If so, is it the usual rechanneled mess, or has Charly Records (current owners of International Artists) straightened out the tapes???

 

im not sure of what you are talking about. but i was over on stonerrock.com and they are selling a reissue of psychedelic sounds from an italian label called sunspots. limited to 1500 copies. all they say about it is that its a digipack and has comprehensive linear notes. i dont know if it sounds any better than anything else out there though. i bought the 13th floor elevators box set (4 discs) awhile back and of course it doesnt sound very good but its kinda nice to have anyhow.
