2014 Music Direct catalog shows new titles coming from MFSL

Maybe, but Audio Fidelity is still plugging away. I received the Legends SACDs a couple of weeks ago, and Presto just shipped from Amazon.

They have not been quiet with respect to vinyl releases. I understand that you prefer SACDs.

 

No, only with SACDs. They have been loud with vinyl releases.

OK, but a reissue company that's released more than a dozen vinyl and SACD titles since January isn't exactly going out of business. And they've brought back several more titles into print. If you follow them on Facebook, they're posting things constantly. Sure, they haven't filled a bunch of preorders yet, but that's nothing new. They've long announced titles that don't appear for a while, sometimes years. As a vinyl buyer, I wish they would slow down so I'm not always so broke.

 

Again, I never said MFSL was going out of business. I just said things were slow, especially with SACDs. Last year, I was getting SACDs with reasonable frequency. Things have slowed down.

I've made my point multiple times, and that's all I have to say about it. It's not worth saying the same things again.

 

Here are the last two SACD releases. I may have missed a release. Very quiet from an SACD perspective.(2 in 4 months)

I wasn't suggesting they were going out of business, just curious why they slowed down to a crawl on their SACD releases. Iconoclassic has also slowed down. (Poco 2013 release, Three Dog Night 2014 release)

Patience.
I live in Chicago and am able to pick these up as they arrive (literally) on the shelves of Music Direct.
I'm sure pre-orders will be shipped today and tomorrow.

Don't know, but I'm patiently waiting for my first-ever copy of Before The Flood.
When it's announced, I'll have to place my usual by-telephone-to-get-a-normal-shipping-rate-pre-order.

Does anyone know if we'll see MOFI SACD reissues of Billy Joel's Cold Spring Harbor and Streetlife Serenade?

 

Billy Joel's Greatest Hits is supposedly getting a SACD release, nothing else has been announced.

 

I'd be game for streetlife and the bridge.

 

Can't wait till mfsl discovers the 90's and releases sacd from that period
