2017: The Doors 50th Anniversary

What money? You haven't bought anything in 5-6 yrs. Some fan you are.

 

Speculating on a magic upcoming unicorn Matrix box is equally an offense as the posters who fear the worse on every aspect of future Doors releases.

 

I spent hundreds getting all the BMAs and Doors releases over a decade. Fans are soured on thr LAW box and 2008 Matrix and are frankly still waiting a sign that Jampol's behaviour has changed.

When there are PD releases of unheard 1967 Doors shows in January 2018 I will happily and legally buy those as it's supporting people who are actually adding to the Doors legacy.

 

I'm plenty calm actually, but there is two sides of the story. Apparently, I'm the only one on the management side. Which I'm A-OK with.

 

Except he's correct. Where the others posters are not.

 

Just so sour. I can't believe what they've done. Shame on them. Oh God. Drama class starts at 6 tonight. Don't miss it.

I have one of those. I remember the hype when that was released. I think 2500 were sold to the public and 2500 were promo copies given to people in the industry (TV, radio, record stores, etc.) Mine is a numbered promo copy that someone I know who worked at a record store didn't want. Besides the 5000 numbered copies they made, I believe they made an undisclosed number of copies with no number (#0000/5000)

 

What month will the complete Matrix tapes be issued this year? And who is your source for the information? Jampol?
