I've been listening to it a lot lately, and "Rumors" has gotten a lot of play in our house. The wife will ask to hear that over and over again with no complaints from me.

The album is definitely solid. Her voice sounds rested and excellent and the band sounds like they're really giving it all they have. The songwriting, the arrangements, production are top-notch, not that I would expect anything less from them, but you can clearly hear that they wanted to give her one last excellent outing on record.

My review is that I can't stop playing it and that means a lot.

I'm really hoping to see more SKDK stuff come from the Daptone vults. I'd also like to see reissues of the Desco sides on 45.
