A Robert Johnson Reissue Suggestion

    Here is something that I would like to see. How about a box set of all the original Robert Johnson 78's. Done on 10" records with original label artwork and record company sleeves. I would like to see it issued as a 45 rpm set and a 78 set.
    There seems to be enough interest in the Blues that something like this would sell.

    And it would finally give me the incentive I need to pick up a nice 1920's gramophone.

    When Classic Records first started doing mono a few years back I sent Mike H a suggestion list of 45 RPM sets...

    Robert Johnson: King of the Delta Blues Singers, Hank Williams Greatest Hits, Elvis' Sun Sessions, Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's, Best of Muddy Waters, and Hendrix' Are You Experienced? I doubt we'll see any of these anytime soon. I don't know why "Are You Exp?" mono still hasn't seen the light of day.

    There really is one company that still makes 78's. They're in England and all their stuff is classical:
