You dont need the BtB stuff. Just go on Zappateers.

Now I will finally own a legit copy of "Greasy Love Songs". Hurrah! I hope "Bat Chain Puller" gets a cheapo release too!

I have two from that series: 'Tis The Season To Be Jelly, which is pretty good (beautiful "King Kong" and marvelous vocal performances by the one and only Ray Collins), and The Ark, which was not mastered at the correct speed (except for the last track), and only makes me wish for an release of those shows one day (we have a couple of excerpts here and there in the official discography).

I'm not really interested in listening to his testimony with a few seconds of music in between. It's one I won't be buying.

Alongside Trout Mask Replica, if possible!

It's a really interesting release, but I'm fine with Spotify in this case (and with You Tube if I want to see the footage of Frank's testimony).

I figured Zappateers wouldn't have them since they are official releases.

If Wazoo comes out it had better be a hundred bucks or I'm going to feel quite the... fool for having paid the Barfko/Swill Consortium a ton for it,not mentioning a cardboard sleeve I ripped apart in frustration.

It's twenty bucks at the moment on Zappa.com (cd)
    Wazoo Concert Double CD (Vaulternative)

Instead of Beat The Boots I'd like to see Smash The Boots where the same shows are released in full from Franks own recordings. Beat the Boots matched the boots more than beat them.

Get these three (or the first two, or just the first only) - some very mean jamming/improvising going on there:
    1. Hammersmith Odeon '78
    2. FZ:OZ '76
    3. Philly '76
I have also read excellent reviews of the more recent Chicago '78, but I have not grabbed it yet.

Chicago '78 is pretty good. The band sound a little tentative in places but by and large it's a treat and there's some fantastic FZ soloing going on as well. Definitely worth the price.

Well, the Zappa BarfkoSwill had dropped some of the items for awhile. While some have returned (Buffalo was disappeared for awhile) not all items coming out for release are on Zappa site.
Also, Zappa site has reduced some of their prices, for the longest time CPIII was 33.33 dollars.

Anyone interested should check both sites for the best deal. The OP wants Dance Me This, so he needs to wait.

Can I ask a stupid question? Does FZ plays the music of FZ have the scrutinizer dialogue at the beginning of the 'album version' of Watermelon in Easter Hay? I'm assuming it does, but if it happened to have it edited out, it'd be a must buy.

Just ordered Dance Me This, Roxy By Proxy & Greasy Love Songs. This is a pretty good deal all around. Thanks for sharing

Sadly, it's played as the 'live' version is fading out....

Not a stupid question... the scrutinizer dialogue completes the final moments of the live version and opens the following track, the album version :righton:

I've tried to make one for my own usage. It really is nigh on impossible for many reasons. Do you have any parameters in mind for a good way to go about it?

I wish I did. Every time I've tried to create my own, I feel like I'm always leaving something out that should be in. Also there is the struggle with how to arrange everything.

  25. Again, straight reissues on all these? Or remastered?
