    Grant, I'm not a Teena Marie fan, but this is great news to me! Certainly gives us hope for the rest of the catalog.

    Now if the accolades start pouring in with the next wave of releases, maybe others in the industry will start questioning the practice of maximizing. Most already did away with heavy NR! It can be done...

    Two quick points:

    1) I read the title of this thread as a humorous overstatement rather than a serious attempt by Grant to equate the release of an uncompressed CD with the moon walk or the polio vaccine.

    2) Considering UMG's recent track record, a reissue CD without major digital limiting/compression almost does seem like an interesting novelty. :sigh:
