Actors + Actresses Who Only Appeared In 1 or 2 Films

Anita Skinner was just fantastic in Sole Survivor. Too bad she never did another movie....just 2 credits on IMDb

Karen Robson (left, as Irma) became a lawyer and is involved in film finance. The imdb credit her with only one other cameo appearance, in 2003.
Christine Schuler played Edith and has no other acting credits listed.

Well, once you pick your nose and eat it in a movie, where can you go as an actor?

 

Laurel Near as the "Lady in the Radiator" in David Lynch's 'Eraserhead.'

 

Good call, I love that movie. Robert Mitchum is just sinister in that one. God, he could play a great bad guy.

 

He actually appeared as an uncredited extra in several other films, not to mention a fair number of television performances as well.

 

One of my favourite movie's is Gregory's Girl. One actress Dee Hepburn (Dorothy) only appeared in one other movie. Another actress Carol Macartney (Margo) only appeared in this movie.

The second actress should read Allison Forster.

 

He's done plenty of other films besides the Star Wars trilogy, not to mention a ton of voice work.

One that comes to mind is a young lady called Sarah Patterson, who starred in The Company of Wolves...I remember her being touted as the new Julie Christie, or something... The film wasn't particularly successful, but had some positive reviews....

Her next film was a Snow White flop...and that was it...All over, bar a couple of minor shorts 20 years later...It's a tough industry indeed!

 

Here's two more actors I just remembered who only appeared in a couple movies:

Harvey Stephens- Damien in The Omen (1976)
Jonathan Scott-Taylor- Damien in Omen II (1978)

 

She also has a song on the soundtrack to Troma's The Toxic Avenger.

 

He was in six movies, which ain't a lot, but still.

 

You're not keeping up! Paul Simon had the "One-Trick Pony" and The Rutles' film "All You Need Is Cash" and Art Garfunkel has done quite a bit of acting in films like "Bad Timing" and "Boxing Helena".

 

Odd that you should mention "Two-Lane Blacktop", without mentioning Dennis Wilson, who acted in that film ONLY.

Actually, he was in several other things, including the sitcom Head of the Class and the unforgettable Brendan Fraser/Pauly Shore vehicle Encino Man.

As an "actor", he only appeared in four "films". I don't count shorts or documentaries where he played himself. Actually, i'm only counting the two Herzog's movies, since his other two roles were considerably small.

 

Mark Hamill? Really? He certainly didn't become the star that many anticipated but he made over 40 films as an actor and voice actor. That doesn't include the dozens of TV roles he did.
