George Harrison: Wonderwall Music. It's my second favorite Harrison solo album after ATMP. What a splendid little gem!

1980s Joni Mitchell. 1990s Pat Benetar. The 1970s Animals LP, Before We Were So Rudely Interrupted sits better with me than the reviews of it I checked out.

I thought the album was rather popular among her fans.

Great soundtrack album. Back in the '80s I found a good vinyl copy of it in a church bazaar for 50 cents, complete with the insert. I really like Electronic Sound, too, even if a lot of it was stolen from Bernie Krause.

I think it's a fun album that took the band into some new directions. Love "Big Bad Bill", "Happy Trails", and the short instrumental bits.

Oh God...I could make a list a mile long:

    The Velvet Underground - Squeeze
    Genesis - Calling All Stations
    The Byrds - Byrdmaniax
Moby Grape - Truly Fine Citizen
    R.E.M. - Around the Sun
    Weezer - Maladroit
    Chicago - Chicago 21
The Moody Blues - Keys of the Kingdom
The Beach Boys - L.A. (Light Album)
Peter Criss - Peter Criss (the KISS solo album)

    That's 10. I think that's enough. I could go on for hours.

Well I'm not sure I love it, but I do own multiple copies of and occasionally listen to Metal Machine Music. I suppose we're using lesser scales on this one. Compared to most peoples' opinions, it would seem that I love it.

Cheap Trick's Special One universally gets 50% ratings on every single review I've ever come across. I love it to pieces - not a huge fan of the band, but this one album is beyond fantastic to me. Shame it got Howie Weinberged.

I think that Dirty Work is far from the worst Stones album. I would put Emotional Rescue, Undercover, December's Children, the debut (sorry, I just don't think there are any really good songs on this one), and maybe It's Only Rock 'N' Roll below it. "One Hit To The Body" is the only song I would call great, but I don't think any of the other ones are bad. Bad elements, but name one other '60s band that used this much guitar on their 1986 album. I would wager that every other '60s band's 1986 album combined has less guitar than Dirty Work. I get why a lot of people dislike it, but at least it has energy.

Tom Petty's You're Gonna Get It - I don't think most people dislike it, but at times it has been my favorite Petty album (fighting with Torpedoes - I don't want to pick one over the other).

Waterboys Dream Harder - didn't realize I loved it until recently. Most rank it pretty low on the list or at the bottom, I used to but not any more.

  24. There was no like button in 2005. People can go back and like old posts (somebody actually did) but it doesn't happen too often.

Nah. Never Let Me Down or Tonight, maybe. The Hours, perhaps. The Tin Machine albums, conceivably. David Live or Black Tie White Noise get their share of disdain to be sure... but Diamond Dogs ? You're saying most people dislike Diamond Dogs ? I'm shocked... shocked, I tells ya.
