There's been one genius in Fleetwood Mac, and it's not the Lindsey gal.

Maybe their best album or at least second best to Doolittle. Love everything from the surf cover opening Cecilia Ann, to the variety of themes and tones, sure they wrote it in the studio, but it rounds really fresh and dynamic. I'd say its variety is a big strength, showing their skills and scratching a lot of musical itches. I find it actually does rock really well, and was a very intriguing departure from Doolittle.

Paul McCartney and Wings 'Back To The Egg' Many consider 'Band On The Run' to be the best of the bands output.

+1 ... except of "les boys" it is the most consistent... love over gold has a weak b-side imho... and the debut is also a little bit spotty...

Agreed, I've heard many people feel Done With Mirrors was better, and I understand the argument that that album was more raw and truer to their original sound. However, it's refreshing to hear the band focused and playing and singing to their natural ability (without drugs impeding them.) While this one is "poppier," I still hear a renewed vigor and excitement for their music that had been missing for years until that point. Moreover, I love the music of their comeback years, even if it was less hardcore rock.

Great album! I played it to death when it came out. Reminds me it's been some years since I've heard it.

This is one of my favorite Prince records. Proof of the Purple One's greatness that he could veer into jazz territory and still do amazing work.

This is usually put near the bottom of where most people rank U2 albums, but it's one of my favorites of their career. The song I love most on the album is "Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own." I've heard that track more times than I can count, as it has given me a lot of comfort during difficult times.

It seems to me that this one has gone unnoticed. However "In the spirit of things"(1988) is my favourite Kansas album.

I bought the 1st cheap for nostalgic reasons and out of curiosity a while ago and was surprised by how weak and low key it was. And that is a rather over the top Dylan imitation on Down To The Waterline.

Seriously, how can one argue with how much Heart's Done Time and Simoriah kick ass? :)
