I think Scott is in a hurry to get as much work and...money under his belt before he's too old to do it. Unfortunately, his legacy is suffering.

If you look him up he's signing his name to anything put under his nose, movie or TV wise. It's a shame.

Me too. "Prometheus" gets a lot of hate. I really liked it and am looking forward to more.

I must be losing my license to be a nerd. I completely overlooked the X-Files / Prometheus black oil connection! I see it now, Mulder vs Aliens!

My God, and I thought one was already too much.
I know he's been praised for his part in Prometheus but I thought he was much more interesting in the X-men, or perhaps the stories/parts were better.

 

I too will be looking for a word for this movie............hopefully not the same word as for the last one!

My main problem with Prometheus and main worry about Covenant is that it seems like they have absolutely no idea where they're going, and we're gonna end up with a mess of a story that's totally gonna ruin the original beauty and mystery of Alien.

 

Just wait until Ironman shows up to clobber some facehuggers.

 

At this point I can't say I would be that surprised actually.
I might have been hallucinating but wasn't there talk recently of trying to link more franchises?

 

Hmmm, not very original. It seems to say 'beware of scary monster in the dark' - been there, done that. I hope the movie has something original to say.

Looks interesting. It would seem that I enjoyed Prometheus more then most here did, so I'm looking forward to where they take the story.

 

I didn't mind Prometheus. It wasn't great but I didn't hate it, plus it looked gorgeous, as does this from the trailer.

Looks like a remake of the first. Very cautiously optimistic.

 

Didn't spot the Elizabeth Shaw character?......the only good human character from previous......But the credits went by fast.
So it's just another shoot 'em up Aliens movie with new human characters that you couldn't care less about.
I hope Noomi is still around.
These prequels should have been 3 films based around her character.
